Saying goodbye for a little while...

So I did great holding it together, until they announced that we had five minutes, then the tears started to stream.  My goodness I miss him already!  The battalion commander came out and gave a really nice speech, he talked about how this mission was ground breaking and how proud he was of this great group of 13.  This group of soldiers will spend the next six months working side by side with the special operations command.  The brigade commander presented Kyle with a challenge coin and expressed his appreciation for his exceptional leadership and skill.  The Chaplin came out and brought snacks for the soldiers and their loved ones which was a nice show of support.
What a great group of men and women my husband will be serving with over the next several months!  Kyle Jo, know that we love you and are always thinking of you!
